ABOUT ANDERSON COUNTY COMMUNITY AID COALITION

Anderson County Community Aid Coalition (ACCAC) was originally established in April 1965 as the Anderson County Community Action Commission, and our mission to fight the war on poverty has never wavered. For over six decades, we have stood beside our neighbors, offering food, clothing, household essentials, and compassionate support during life’s most difficult moments. In October 2025, we adopted our new name—Anderson County Community Aid Coalition—to reflect a broader, more forward-focused vision that allows us to expand our programs and strengthen the ways we serve our community. Though our name has evolved, our dedication to lifting up Anderson County families remains as strong as ever.
